Nicholas Stephen Heinrich-Barna, 26, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026. He was born on April 4, 2000, in Murphy, Texas, to Stephen and Claudia Heinrich-Barna.

Nicholas was the eldest son of Stephen and Claudia and a beloved brother to Nathaniel and Helena. He grew up in a home centered on learning, family, and hard work, values that shaped his character and guided him throughout his life.

From a young age, Nicholas was known for his ambition, keen intellect, and quiet kindness. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout, reflecting his perseverance, leadership, and commitment to serving others.

After graduating from Lovejoy High School, Nicholas attended Texas A&M University, where he earned bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. During his time there, he proudly served in the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. He later continued his education as a Ph.D. student in Cybersecurity at Texas A&M University.

He found joy in meaningful conversations, reading, lifelong learning, and spending time with family and friends.

Nicholas was deeply devoted to his faith, his family, and his community. A lifelong Catholic, he found quiet strength in his faith in Jesus Christ and maintained a steadfast commitment to the teachings of the Church. He cared deeply for others and believed in treating every person with dignity and respect.

He found joy in meaningful conversations, reading, lifelong learning, and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew Nicholas will remember his thoughtful nature, intellectual curiosity, and unwavering dedication to the people and principles he cherished.

Nicholas is survived by his parents, Stephen and Claudia Heinrich-Barna of Dallas, Texas, and his younger siblings, Nathaniel and Helena Heinrich-Barna.

His family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who supported Nicholas throughout his life and asks that he be remembered for the compassion, faith, and love he shared with others.

He cared deeply for others and believed in treating every person with dignity and respect.
