Pamela Anne Helmick

Pamela Anne Helmick, 62 of Culpeper, VA, passed away on June 9, 2026.

Born on September 30, 1963, Pamela “Pam” Anne Helmick was the beloved daughter of James and Patricia Tipton. She spent her early years living in Virginia Beach, where she enjoyed spending time with friends and playing softball. She graduated from First Colonial High School and later studied hospitality and science at Virginia Tech and Old Dominion University. As a young adult, she worked in hospitality, where she met the love of her life, Charles “Charlie” Helmick, through mutual friends Berry and Piper. They quickly connected over their shared love of music.

Pam enjoyed a long and successful career in accounting, working for a company in Northern Virginia for many years. Throughout her career, she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Pam cherished spending time with her family and friends. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed music, traveling, gardening, and flowers. She was also an avid sports fan, especially when cheering on her beloved Washington Commanders. Above all, Pam found her greatest joy in the time she spent with those she loved, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Pam is survived by her husband, Charles Helmick; her son, Nichalos Helmick; and her daughter, Emma Helmick ( fiancée, Javier Britt). Her step-daughters, Kimberly (Michael) High, and Daina (Timothy) Reid. Her step-son, Todd (Nicole) Helmick. Her grandchildren: Jordan (Jason) Rose, Sara Neary, Anthony Helmick, Devin Pasaoa, Hudson High, Allyson Reid, Claire Helmick, and Liam Helmick. Her great-grandchildren, Declan Rose, Eloywn Rose, and Rowan Rose. Her step-mother Judith Tipton; and her half-sisters, Roseann Abrahan and Sherree Strong.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and James Tipton; and her sister, Kelly Peterson.

Those who knew Pam will remember her for her caring heart, her strength, her sense of humor, and the love she shared so freely with others. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Pam’s honor at a later date and will be announced by the family.

The family wishes to thank all who have offered their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. Pam will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
