Regina Marie Henderson

With heavy hearts full of love, gratitude, and precious memories, we announce the passing of Regina Marie (Kenny) Henderson into her eternal rest at age 81, on 5 September, 2026. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Alan Henderson. Their enduring love touched countless lives and continues to inspire us all to be caring, loving, and selfless. Throughout their 63 years of marriage, their love grew stronger each day. After suffering the unimaginable heartbreak of losing their child, Nancy Lee, 55 years ago to the day of Regina’s passing, we take comfort knowing that mother and daughter are together once again. Regina and Nan can now watch over our family together as the legacy of Regina and Alan’s love continues to grow. Regina is also predeceased by her parents William Kenny and Eileen (Cleary) Kenny. Above all else, Regina loved being a Mom and Granny. Family was her priority and she was so very proud of each and every one of her children and their spouses/partners: Carole (Thomas), Alan Jr. (Karen), Barbara (Todd), and Douglas (Mary Ellen); and eleven grandchildren and their spouses/partners: Thomas Jr. (Kathryn), Timothy (Malou), Andrew (Allison), Alan III (Samantha), William (Hayley), Meghan, Sarah (Calvin), Samantha, Dennis, Dominic, and Eleanor; and five (soon to be six) great-grandchildren: Madeleine, Thomas III, Riley, Olivia, (baby Boy Henderson), and Walter. They were all her favorite for a very special reason. Regina also loved being the big sister and friend to her siblings Maureen (Frank), Kathy (George), and Phil and being Aunt Regina to all their children and grandchildren. Over the years, Regina opened her home and family vacations to many nephews, nieces, and friends and always made them feel welcome and loved. Regina’s legacy of motherly love is felt by all that knew her and provides continued comfort to us all.

Per Regina’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. She would want all who knew her to grieve as needed, but continue to remember her by celebrating life and loving one another. Blood and organ donation were important to her. We are proud to say that she made many blood donations throughout her life and was also able to donate skin and a cornea after her passing to help up to 70 people.
