IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sara Anne
Bosse
July 22, 1984 – November 1, 2025
Sara Bueche Bosse, 41, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025 after a long and incredibly brave five-year fight with brain cancer. Born July 22, 1984 in Flint, Michigan, Sara grew up in Arizona and Gladwin, Michigan. She was a loving mother and wife, daughter, sister, aunt, teacher and friend. Her sons, Ben and Nate were the light of her life and Sara’s passion was anything that had to do with them. Sara was known for her uncanny ability to light up every room she entered. She spoke in song lyrics, found beauty in ordinary moments and left an impression on every person she met. Her laughter was contagious, her compassion limitless and her motto was “be nice until you can’t be nice”. To know Sara was to feel seen, loved and inspired.
A graduate of Gladwin High School, Sara attended Western Michigan University where she met Ross. Following graduation, they were married and headed to Virginia to start their new life together. Sara began her 19-year career with Prince William County Schools at Stonewall Middle where she established herself as a strong and dedicated math teacher. She transferred to Pennington Traditional where she became National Board Certified and finished her career as a Math Coach at Beville Middle. As a teacher, Sara poured her heart into every day, bringing boundless energy, creativity and love to her classroom. She made an effort to make every student feel seen, capable, and valued. Her leadership and caring spirit touched countless young lives and will be remembered in every heart she inspired.
Sara is survived by her husband Ross, sons Ben and Nate. She is also survived by her parents Don and Kris Bueche, brothers Jason and Eric Derbyshire, her sister Ashlee Stephens, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
