A man who lived his life to its fullest, curious about everyday and every experience. From shouldering all responsibility upon the loss of his father in his teens to pulling his mother and sisters out of the worst, he always placed hard work with integrity above all. He slowly built out his own family with his wife, Sumati. He instilled the same familial values into his two sons and daughter. A family that comes together to hold each other through hard times and good.

Upon retirement, he acted as the Trustee of the Bajkhedawal Kedavni & Sanskruti Mandal. He contributed to society and the development of his community via this and many other organizations. He was particularly passionate about supporting the educational ventures of youth. He was known for his calm and kind nature, making him an example for all those around him.

He’s fought many battles and overcome many challenges but his last one, against life itself, was the most impressive yet. He decided his own terms as he always has and is in a better place looking down on the legacy he has left behind in his family, his work and in the many lives he touched and saved through his 101 blood donations.

અમારા પૂજ્ય પિતાશ્રી સ્વ. સત્યેન્દ્રપ્રસાદ દેવશંકર શેલતની યાદમાં :

જન્મ: 4-2-1935 મૃત્યુ: 18-11-2025

સ્વર્ગસ્થ સત્યેન્દ્રપ્રસાદ શેલત એમનું સંપૂર્ણ જીવન સતત સંઘર્ષની વચ્ચે પણ આનંદમય રીતે જીવ્યા. બાળપણમાં પિતાની છત્રછાયા ગુમાવતા એમણે ઘણી નાની વયે જવાબદારીઓનો સમાનો કરી પોતાના પગ ઉપર ઉભા થયા. ઘણી નાની વયે તેમણે તેમના માતા અને બહેનોની સંપૂર્ણ જવબાદરી સહજતાથી નિભાવી.

અતિ સંઘર્ષમય કિશોરવસ્થામાં એમણે ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ પણ પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું અને LIC માં કારકિર્દી યુવાન વયે શરૂ કરી.

અમારા માતૃશ્રી સ્વ. સુમતિબેન સાથે લગ્નજીવન શરૂ કરી તેમણે તેમનો પોતાનો પરિવાર શરૂ કર્યો. એમને બે દિકરા અને એક દિકરીને યોગ્ય સંસ્કાર અને શિક્ષણ આપી ઉચ્છેર્યા.

એમણે 101 વાર રક્તદાન કરીને ઘણાં વ્યક્તિઓના જીવન બચાવવામાં સહાયક ભૂમિકા નિભાવી અને સમાજમાં સન્માનનીય સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું.

જીવનની પ્રૌઢ અવસ્થા દરમ્યાન તેમણે શ્રી બાજખેડાવાળ કેળવણી અને સંસ્કૃતિ મંડળના પૂર્વ ટ્રસ્ટી તારીકે ની સેવાઓ આપી હતી. તેઓ જ્ઞાતિના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે હરહંમેશ સંસ્થાને જરૂરી આર્થિક યોગદાન આપતા રહેતા હતા.

તેઓનો શાંત આને દયાળુ સ્વાભાવ તેમની આગવી ઓળખ હતી.

પરમકૃપાળુ પરમાત્મા તેમાના આત્મને શાંતિ અને સદ્દગતિ આપે તેવી પ્રાર્થના.
