Silvio Girolami passed away on September 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He left behind a lifetime of memories that will be forever cherished.

Born in Flushing, New York, Silvio spent the majority of his life in Northern Virginia, where he built a life centered around family, hard work, and the things he loved most. A skilled tile setter by trade, Silvio took pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic.

Silvio enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also had a passion for cooking and there was nothing quite like sharing a meal he had prepared with the people he loved. Whether he was tending to his garden, enjoying the outdoors, or loving on his five grandchildren; Silvio found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Above all else, Silvio loved his family. He is survived by his son, Mike, daughter-in-law, Crystal, their children, Caden and Aubrey; his daughter, Amanda, son-in-law, Nick, and their children, Hadley, Braden, and Hannah. Silvio is also survived by his fiancé Kirsten, twin sister Paula, brother, Tony, and sister-in-law, Angela, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Silvio will be remembered for his hard work, his love for his family, and the many moments of laughter, food, and time shared with those closest to him. His legacy will live on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
