On August 14, 2026, Soren went to sleep and, heartbreakingly, never woke up, just four days after his 19th birthday on August 10th. There are no words that can truly capture the shock and devastation of losing someone so young, so suddenly.

Soren was a kind, funny, bright, and loving young man. He had a way of bringing light and laughter wherever he went. To my son, Soren was so much more than a best friend. They were brothers. Their friendship was a bond that went far beyond words, and losing Soren has left an enormous hole in our family as well.

Soren is survived by his mother, Brandi, his Oma, his uncle, grandfather, and family and friends, who are now trying to navigate the unimaginable pain of losing him. If you knew Soren, you know what a beautiful light he was. 

Rest peacefully, Soren. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.
