Stephen Alfieris Jr. passed this life on April 3, 2026.

Steve was born on March 13, 1960 in East Brunswick, NJ. He threw himself at everything in life with enthusiasm and infectious energy. One can easily imagine baby Steve looking up at the doctor with his trademark chuckle and grin, saying “Hey Buddy, how ya doin’?”

With all that charisma and verve, he was destined for a career in sales. He started his IT sales career at EMC2, moving up to VP of Federal Sales. He later held the role of CEO at Intellidyne, and VP of Federal Sales at Service Now and Rubrik. He frequently said his favorite part of sales jobs was pulling together the best team possible and motivating them for success. A number of IT sales professionals in the DC area got their start and learned their skills because of Steve and his mentorship.

He approached his personal life with the same level of gusto. He loved a good live concert -- the Grateful Dead, the Eagles, Crosby Stills, Nash and, of course, no Jersey boy worth his cred would miss a Springsteen concert. He traveled far and wide, with a particular love for the islands of his Greek ancestors and any great beach. Due to his vision and creativity, he was the undisputed Sandcastle Master.

At home, he was an accomplished handyman, griller, and wine connoisseur. He loved playing golf with his friends and a fun day tearing around on one of his ATVs. He enthusiastically cheered on his Giants and Yankees.

His generosity and wonder were boundless. If he saw a person in need – any person in need – he would help. He did not care if he was acknowledged. He knew he could help, so he helped.

Steve showed kindness to all who crossed his path. His smile said it all. Without question, his pride and joy were the beautiful family he built with his wife Lori. He simply adored Lori and their two children, Nicholas and Leigh. He lit up a room all on his own; but, he positively glowed when he was looking at his family. He instilled in his son a love of baseball by serving as a coach, including some very special years with the Burke Dirtbags. He supported Leigh at her tennis matches, cheering enthusiastically over many years.

Steve was predeceased by his parents, Libby Alfieris and Stephen Alfieris, Sr. He is survived by his wife Lori, son Nicholas (Gabby) and daughter Leigh (Jordan). He also leaves behind his siblings Katina Ewaskiewicz (Chris) and Peter Alfieris (Dawn), his brother-in-law Dean Buckius (Laura), mother-in-law Janice Buckius, cherished nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends.

The cruel disease of Alzheimers robbed Steve of his vibrancy too soon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimers, through Leigh Alfieris’ team, which was organized in honor and memory of Steve - https://alzm.org/dw40k
