It is with profound sadness and immense gratitude that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Su Thi Dinh on June 9, 2026.

Su grew up in Vietnam surrounded by her family of 8 siblings during the tumultuous Vietnam War. In 1975, during her immigration to the United States, she met the love of her life, Minh Dinh, in Indiantown Gap, PA. Minh followed Su’s family to their sponsor city of Roanoke, VA. They quickly married and built a life together starting in Roanoke then relocating to Connecticut and eventually settling back in Roanoke.

She came from a life of comfort, until the war disrupted everything and her family had to rebuild in the United States. Despite those profound life changes, she went on to build the American dream, rising to become a Supervisor at Plastics One. Throughout her life, she embodied a generous and beautiful spirit, always placing family and relationships at the center of everything she did.

During her 40 year marriage with Minh, they loved to live life, hosted parties, visited family, frequently took spontaneous trips up and down the east coast to New York and Myrtle Beach. You’d frequently see her riding down the highway in their little red convertible with the top on because she was afraid to mess her hair up. Her beauty radiated far beyond her appearance. Gorgeous, stylish, and effortlessly fashionable, she had the presence that could light up any room - bringing energy and joy, and unforgettable memories to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Known for her quick wit and sassy spirit even until her final breath. Life was simply more fun and bright with Su in it, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Su is survived by her loving husband, Minh, who took exceptional care of her the last 12 years, her son David and his family, Jill (daughter-in-law), Brooklyn (10 months) and her daughter Jennifer and her family, David (son-in-law), Noah (10), Kaitlyn (9), and her siblings Hung, Mui, Hoa, Nam, Sean, Tho, and Kiem.

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, support and kindness shown to our family.
