It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Cole Johnson on February 22, 2025 in Washington, DC. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family.
Suzanne was born on March 21, 1951 in New York, NY to Wesley Harold and Evelyn Joan Cole.
Known for her incredible strength, unwavering positivity, and boundless kindness, Suzanne touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She faced life’s challenges with fierce determination, never allowing adversity to shake her spirit. Whether battling illness or life's other obstacles, she approached each day with grace, optimism, and an enduring belief that better days were always ahead.
Suzanne is survived by her husband, Sidney Johnson III, her daughters, Samantha (Brian) Brennan, Alexandra Johnson, her sisters Evelyn Cole, Deborah Loconto, Mary (Tim) Ward, sisters in-law, Susan (Paul) Dyer, Sally (Tom) Simons, as well as several beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends across the globe.
The Family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on April 5, 2025 in Washington, DC.
