Timothy Odom

Timothy Paul Odom, age 46 passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Fairfax, VA. He was born on July 1, 1977 in Washington, DC to Leroy and Margaret Odom.

Timothy attended Webb Elementary and Fort Lincoln Middle School for his primary education, followed by Eastern High School, all in Washington, DC. He furthered his education at the American University. As a youth, he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and devoted some of his time as a regular pioneer even as a fulltime college student.

Shortly after attending college, he started a small IT company; after landing his first two clients, his family will always remember the day he walked in the door and proudly stated: “The CEO has arrived!” In his secular career, he was not only an entrepreneur, but also a team player for the companies he worked for, most recently at Vidoori, an IT consulting firm.

Tim’s mind was always active and those who knew him always wondered when he ever actually rested! He was known for his creativity, ambition, ability to connect with anyone, and his genuine desire to always help others. His family and friends will remember him as a dedicated and loving person, always willing to lend a helping hand and listen attentively. In his leisure time, he enjoyed writing, spending quality time with friends and family, traveling, and playing polo (all the while getting friends and family to join him in playing and watching the sport too.)

He is survived by his wife Ramona, mother Margaret, father Leroy, two brothers Thomas and Timon, sister Tamela, nieces Kailee and Tatiana, nephew Adin, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, colleagues, and a countless number of friends. Tim will be dearly missed, by all who knew him.
