Tyrone Trader, a vibrant and adventurous spirit, passed on September 6, 2024, at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. Born September 25, 1952, in New Haven, Connecticut, Tyrone brought joy and enthusiasm into the lives of those around him. He was known for being outgoing and was often described as the life of the party, effortlessly livening any gathering he attended.

Tyrone dedicated his career to social services, working tirelessly with at-risk youth and individuals with mental disabilities. His commitment to helping others reflected his compassionate nature and desire to make a positive impact on the world. Throughout his life, he fostered many meaningful relationships and inspired countless individuals through his work.

An avid biker and runner, Tyrone found solace in the open road and the rhythm of his feet hitting the pavement. He was also a dedicated martial arts practitioner, studying both hung gar and tai chi, activities that brought him not only physical fitness but also spiritual balance.

In the latter years of his life, Tyrone faced a number of medical challenges, the most significant being Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. Despite these struggles, he remained steadfast in his determination to embrace life fully.

Tyrone is survived by his loving family, including sisters Karyn Trader-Leigh and Carolyn Trader, brother Andrew Trader, and his children, Simeon, Kethayne, and Thaiese Trader. He was preceded in death by his sister Joann James, father Leonard Trader, and mother Lillian Randolph, all of whom left an indelible mark on his life.

Tyrone Trader will be remembered not only for his adventurous spirit and dedication to others but also for the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy of compassion and exuberance will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
