Lady Uchechukwu Francisca Akwuobi, age 56, passed away on Friday, 26th June 2026.

Uche was born on the 29th of December, 1969, in Anambra State, Nigeria, where she completed her elementary and secondary school. She attended Federal Polytechnic Oko where she obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in public relations. In 2001, Uche pursued a post graduate diploma and was certified by the Times Journalism Institute (TJI) before completing her bachelor’s degree (BSC) in Mass Communication at the University of Lagos, Lagos State.

She worked as a Journalist for several years during which she founded Frankaus Media World Nigeria Limited in 2014, where she and her team provided media services.

Lady Uchechukwu and her late husband were also prominent members of The Order Of Knights and Ladies of St. Mulumba (KSM) and (LSM).

Uche was fearless, strong and powerful, a goal-oriented and career-driven woman. She was an eagle who watches over her nest and protects those dear to her.Uche is lovingly remembered by her 5 children, Chinedu, Nneamaka, Anulika, Ifunanya and Emeka. She also leaves to mourn her grandchild, Ozioma, and is survived by her siblings, Ukamaka, Obiageli, Obinna, Ifeanyi and Chinenye as well as her in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Late Sir Akwuobi Lawrence Ndidi.

The Family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Mrs Julie Nwufo for her love, care and support she showed to Uche which brought so much comfort to us all.A requiem mass will be held to honor her memory and the funeral details will be released accordingly.She will be greatly missed, but she will live forever in our hearts.
