Valencia Latonya Turner

Valencia Turner was born to Gerald Turner and the late Juanita D. Turner on July 21, 1975. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 4, 2024. She was the youngest of three daughters. She was affectionately known as Lynn by her family, friends and colleagues. Lynn was educated in the District of Columbia Public Schools. She worked alongside her mother at (CCA/CTF). Lynn was preceded in death by her mother Juanita and eldest sister Joycelynn.

Lynn had two children Valonte and TiSheia whom she loved dearly. She had taken the responsibility of caring for her niece Je’Nique’ after the passing of her mother. She had an open heart, door and listening ear for her family and friends.

Lynn was led to Christ by Apostle James Mills in 2002. She loved to cook, read, dance and spend time with her children.

Lynn leaves to cherish her memories; her children, Valonte and TiSheia (Mya), her father, Gerald; sisters, Arlinda, Dashaun Ball (Montre’), Demita, Jerzeta and Chavon, and host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
