Wanda Kay Christopher (Flick) 57 of Ridgeley WV passed away June 10, 2026 surrounded by loved ones at Inova Fairfax Hospital Va. After battling several illnesses including ILD.


Wanda was born in Camp Lejeune Jacksonville NC the daughter of the late John and Deborah Flick.

Raised in a proud Marine Corp family. Wanda's early life was shaped by strength and adventure of a military upbringing. She enjoyed girl scouts and singing in the choir. She embraced the adventures of relocating while making friends and living life to the fullest.

Preceded in death by the love of her life Wade Weller.

When she settled down in WV and

enjoyed working for MDOT MVA helping people while making lifelong friends.


Wanda was a outgoing, loving, speak your mind kinda let you know exactly what she was thinking woman. With a home always so inviting with a smell of comfort and a collection of primitive decor.

The ultimate sister always protective and loved by both her brother & sister.

Wanda had a huge heart as a devoted loving Mother and God-Mother.

She was a doting Nana that deeply loved her Grand babies with all her heart. Enjoyed baking cookies, face timing, and singing "You are my Sunshine" with them.

Her favorite past time was spending time with family & friends, playing cards, bingo, and going to concerts. With a love of all kinds of music.


Survived by her children Savanna J DeSantis (Michael V) and Samantha B Weller of Valley Head Alabama

Her God son which she played a role in raising Jayden M White of Ridgeley WV

Grandchildren Alyana J DeSantis, Abrielle B DeSantis, and Amelia R DeSantis

Paisley W Morgan & Phineas C Morgan of Valley Head Alabama

Siblings John L Flick (Sherri) of Centreville Maryland

Wendy M Spangler (Rose) of Barton Maryland

She leaves behind many loved/cherished Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends.


A celebration of life will be held on June 27, 2026 at the Calvary United Methodist Church 28 Knobley Street Ridgeley WV 26753.

Guest are invited to arrive beginning at 12:30 to gather and share memories before the service begins at 1:00.
